Laurence Huret, a barrister, has lived in Hong Kong since 1997 with her husband and four children, and also spent several years in Beijing and Bangkok. Active in the community, she was previously an elected member of the Council for French citizens abroad. She is co-author of the guidebook, Settling in Hong Kong and Macao.
