Shinnoske Sugisaki, born 1953 in Nara, Japan, graduated from the Design Department of Osaka University of Art in 1975. He established Shinnoske Inc. in 1986.
Sugisaki defines design as information construction in order to create impressions, and aims to achieve clear and effective communication. He has worked on a wide range of projects including advertising, branding, and information and space design for clients in both the corporate and cultural sectors.
Sugisaki has received many prestigious design awards throughout his career, including from: the New York Art Directors Club, New York Type Directors Club, International Triennial of Poster in Toyama, Trnava Poster Triennial, International Biennial of Graphic Design Brno, and the Lahti Poster Biennial. His work has been selected for the collections of Museum Fur Kunst und Gewerbe, Hamburg, Klingspor Museum, Offenbach, Hong Kong Heritage Museum, Suntory Museum, Osaka Contemporary Art Center, and the Ogaki Poster Museum, Japan.
Sugisaki is a member of AGI Alliance Graphique Internationale, JAGDA Japan Graphic Designers Association, TDC Tokyo Type Directors Club, TDC New York Type Directors Club, JTA Japan Typography Association and DAS Designers Association.
